“ My wife and I went to Soulfully Delicious and had an amazing experience! We were seated right away, and the place is decorated beautifully—such a unique vibe. I remember when this spot used to be 33 West and then a Mexican restaurant, but this new setup is something special. We tried the honey jerk lamb chops, and they were absolutely delicious! One thing that stood out was that the food was served in a to-go tray—not something you see often when dining in, but honestly, with the portion sizes, it made total sense. We needed the tray anyway because we couldn’t finish it all! The owner greeted us and she was super friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Dover. ”

“ We just had lunch at Soulfully Delicious and are already planning to return. The crab cake fries appetizer was delicious and the size of the crab cake was very generous. Everyone in our party enjoyed this dish. Entrees come with two sides, so expect a lot of food. My husband and I both had the honey jerk chicken. It was crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The honey jerk sauce was sweet and well-seasoned, but not uncomfortably spicy. For sides we had the mac and cheese which was very creamy and rich, the sweet potato casserole which was topped with yummy brown sugar, excellent collard greens and a yellow rice so good that we tried to figure out how to duplicate it. My son ordered the stuffed chicken and was very pleased with the herb and lemon stuffing. The mashed potatoes were delicious too. The young woman who seated us was very pleasant and the chef introduced himself and sent over some complimentary sweet potato cornbread which was a delicious treat. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. ”

“ Heard about this place through a co worker. I ride past this place everyday on weekdays. Had to try it im a sucker for soul food. Upon arrival there were a few customers already waiting. The employees were a bit overwhelmed. I was told to hold on. Allot was going on. After a little wait, I was helped. We tried the oxtails over rice. The oxtails were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I just prefer more gravy. The rice was ok. Also we tried the crab egg rolls. This was the star item for me. Bursting with crab and full of flavor drizzled with some type of sweet sauce maybe honey. No fillers straight crab meat. This was the real deal. I recommend tens across the board. Very amazing . We also got a whitting platter with potato salad, Mac and cheese and sweet potato casserole. The fish was very good. The sweet potato casserole I was not a fan. They were sweet just not a fan of them mashed. Nor was I a fan of the cabbage. The cabbage just did not do it for me. The potato salad was good. Nice little sweetness and good. Overall the environment was nice they had music playing. The wait was well over a hour and half but it was worth it. We will return. “ We had dinner here after church, nice relaxing atmosphere. Our server was so sweet and accommodating, and the food was amazing! We had the whiting dinner with sweet potatoe casserole, cabbage, bbq jerk chicken with potato salad, Mac and cheese along with ox tail with cabbage and Mac and Cheese the Mac and Cheese was so tender, ox tails tender and seasoned just right! Definitely will be back ”

“ This gem of a place is located in unsuspecting Dover. The food, simply amazing. I had the lamb chops which were tender and juicy. The sauce was tangy and sweet. Mac and cheese was seasoned to perfection and perfectly cheesy. You have to try the sweet potato corn bread as well. Fried whiting was some of the best and freshest I’ve had. 10/10 soul food and the best you’ll find around. Staff was warm and inviting and plays feel good music that will have you bopping in your seat like you’re at a family reunion or cookout. Will be back every time I visit Dover. What an experience. ”

“ Had lunch here, Everything was delicious we had the salmon entree and the jerk chicken entree. The jerk chicken was amazing. The rice was very good along with the sides. Definitely recommend anyone to try. The only thing I would say is the music was a little loud to where I felt we were talking very loudly to each other. But other than that I would definitely go back again. ”
